Q: How does this work - will I 'own' the tree?

A: No, you are renting, rather than buying the tree.

Q: I really like my tree and want to keep it - can I buy it?

A: Yes, of course. Please contact us to discuss. We'll provide instructions for how to look after it all year round.

Q: Do you deliver to my area, and how much does it cost?

A: We can only deliver and collect from SK13 postcodes. Delivery is free.

Q: How will my tree be delivered, do you use a courier?

A: We deliver all our trees ourselves, so we can ensure they're delivered to you in good condition.

 Please note that we will deliver the tree to your doorstep, unfortunately we cannot carry the tree into your house. The trees are heavy (between 30-40kg, depending on size) so you may need someone to help you.

Q: I'm scared that I won't look after the tree properly, are they hard to care for?

A: No, not at all. We provide a care guide with each tree. The two main points are keeping the tree away from excess heat and remembering to water it regularly. We're happy to answer any questions you may have.

Q: Will my tree lose its needles?

A: If you follow the care guide correctly (supplied with each tree) needle loss should be minimal. It is normal for a few needles to be shed - giving the tree a gentle shake before taking it inside your home will help remove any loose needles.

Q: Can I have the same tree again next year?

A: Yes, we'd love it if you did! Please let us know when we're collecting it from you after Christmas, so we can make sure we reserve it for you for the following year. Please note that this isn't always possible - as some trees need extra recovery time out in the field and might not be looking their best ready to come back into your home .

Q: If I have the same tree again next year will it have grown a lot bigger?

A: It will be slightly bigger, but probably only by around 15-30cm (approx 6-12 inches). Removing the tree from the ground each year means that its root growth will be less vigorous than a tree which is left undisturbed.

Q: Can I come and view the trees?

Appointment only. Sometimes we may be able to take  photo to send you.

Q: What to do about little tree bugs?

We do our best to make sure that our trees are free from bugs. This isn't 100% foolproof. Our trees live outside in a field and we use mulch in the pot to keep the tree moist and some bugs like to hide in there. We suggest a mild detergent and water spray usually gets rid of them. They are not harmful to humans or pets.
